Just typed this out a few minutes ago in a different reply.... no rock rails, but I'm still being held hostage at Flint.
Maybe a bit of foreshadowing of things to come there at the end. LOL

my list is:
2dr base BASE 2.3 7 spd Antimatter Blue

mod bumper
brush guard
roof rails
switches
cargo liner
floor liners
headliner (was still a cost option on Feb 6th)

I tried to get rock rails, but they caused the order to kick back that day.

How many Broncos have even been produced to this point? About a months worth of projected regular production? I hope bonuses for some execs at Ford will be in short supply as well.

If that's what's got mine sitting on a lot, ship it. I'd be happy not to have them bolted onto the body in the first place, since I'll be putting frame mounted sliders on. Just send them to me in a box when they become available so it's easier for me to resell.

I work in the manufacturing sector and it is harder than heck just to locate raw materials. Steel production hasn’t been able to catch back up yet. Yes, sucks that rock rails are limited right now but things are going to take YEARS to get back to before the Covid shutdown of the World economy.

If they are holding my bronco because of rock rails they can ship it without and my dealer can put on later.

Better yet. Just wait until you can get some frame mounted ones.

Maybe its time for Ford to discontinue the Bronco . We all lived the last 25 years with out a new Bronco we can live the next 25 years with out a new Bronco .Nice try Ford but Jeep well take over from here.

TFL did get their FE, no doubt.
But I was under the impression that they bought, with their own money a wrangler instead.
Why the F are they getting an FE when all the rez holders are waiting? That S... ain't right.

Some FE reservation holder named Tom agreed to sell it to them. I'm assuming Tom didn't know all the nonsense the father on that channel had been spewing against the Bronco ever since he was uninvited to the launch because of photos he published.

Don't worry, just like the Wildtraks that Ford says are hard to make due to constraints, they are sending all the dealers Wildtraks with Rock rails for mannequin and demo use only.

Ignorance is bliss.

Knowing the play by play of part shortages, shutdowns, which key employee is out sick today etc. seems to detract from the experience a bit. Its like getting a meal at a restaurant...do you really want to know what goes on in the back of the house, or can you just order another bourbon, enjoy some conversation, and wait for the food.

I suppose I am unique in this regard, but I don't want to spend time thinking about why my Bronco isn't here, just let me know when it's on the way. I will sip my drink and wait.
