My 2DR with my M416 trailer. Just on a quick test of the new trailer light wiring I had installed. Real work comes this Friday and Saturday when I'm going to do some service project work, so the trailer will haul supplies in and debris out.

Love the M416 trailers. Been looking for one locally that hasn’t been beat up too bad to use as the base for a small offroad setup. Blows my mind how expensive some of these “off-road” trailer camper setups can be.

True. This one I bought at a reasonable price in 2010. I only serviced the bearings and the metal bushings on the springs. I actually borrowed it before buying to help our 4x4 club do trail maintenance. Most you find are pretty rough or someone is asking a crazy price. Some folks are using the M101 trailers. Larger and heavier so it's a compromise.

I want one of these trailers so bad! They are more expensive and harder to find than I thought they would be. I wanna put a rack and rooftop tent on it and use the trailer for camp gear.

Can Tow and should Tow are very different. I pulled a 16' flatbed (dry essentially/only a couple gates on it) 145 miles . yea, it did it, yea it has power,but the WT suspension is too soft, the spare tire is in the way, and I will never, ever ever do it again. I see idiots pulling travel trailers and boats...... I have a 2D, but still, I'd caution against it unless you "don't have a good brain"

Wow how does your bronco tow? I'm gonna be picking up a 5x8 or 6x10 for my sons oval kart. adding the hitch myself so im getting something without brakes.

Got my M416 for $225. $100 to take the dent out. Already did the bearings and races. Did rust removal myself. As soon as the weather is 70 I'll do the POR15 rust encapsulation and Rhino bed liner. It will be tinted Cactus Grey to match. Adding rack for kayaks. Wheels and tires last mod. Gonna beat sweet camping trailer at a great price.

Lol! I just moved this on my property with the Bronco one time. I would never pull this above 2mph.

Hovering at the max 3,500lb tow capacity...1,200lb trailer, 1,800lb SxS, 18hp outboard, 10gal fuel & misc. gear. 50 miles mixed highway, back roads and steep grades. No issues, pleasantly surprised how the 2.3 performed...plenty of get up & go when needed and handled the steep grades with no issues.
