I'm planning on driving down from SF on 2/6 checking it out and driving back the same day. Always wanted to see KOH and now that there's potentially Broncs there, sign me up. Anyone that's gone before, do you have any tips for a first timer? I'll be renting a pickup and am not planning on staying overnight.

Can we get some tasteful pineapple pizza hats made? hahaha

Did you mean there's a long line at the gate regardless of when I buy the ticket. If so I'll have to factor that into my drive time.

As for the roads, thank you, I'll be in a rental pickup so prob not much more capable than an accord off-road

I went to KOH years ago but now it's just nuts. I know the area well. If it rains it will be a mud fest and if it doesn't it will be a dust bowel. For those that love thousands of people in a dry lake it will be a great time. I live about 80 miles from it but will try to avoid it if I can. The wait for the Bronco ride shouldn't be more than a few hours.
