Four Door Badlands - $44590
Destination Charge - $1495
Standard Package - $0
Sasquatch - $2500
2.3 EcoBoost with Auto Tranmission - $1600
Grey Hardtop - $700

Total: $50885

I would love your feedback regarding my potential 4dr Badlands Sasquatch configuration. My desires are:

Keep price down
Bad ass big tire look (high ground clearance good!)
Good highway vehicle. Yes, Bronco are not built for highways, but some will be better than others

What I don't care about are large screens, other electronics, heated seats and steering wheel, auto dimming mirrors, high beam assist, any other types of assistance, leather doo dads, remote start, floor lighting, etc, etc and on and on

Thanks for your help!

At that price might as well add the V6 if you're not adding any creature comforts. Have you looked at Granger or the one in WV for your dealer? 1300 below invoice if you're chasing bottom line.

I would really consider the little bit of extra money to go up to the V6. I think you will be much happier in the long run.

I am very much worried about reliability on the 4 cylinder with this heavy vehicle, especially with 4-door sasquatch.

With just those options, you might want to go Black Diamond and save thousands.

How much can he save? The sasquatch is more expensive on the BD.
If OP were to go to the BD and with the same options as they want it would be a total of $47,340.

I’d honestly still stick with the BL trim, OP.

I’d do the bd with the bigger engine, but if you are really trying to save go with base squatch

Drop the Sasquatch (appears to only be tires/wheels) add 2.7L. Save $900. You can add 35" tires later easily. Love the standard tires on the BL.
This is my dilemma.

If you're going automatic, get the six cylinder. Drop the Sasquatch, since it's a Badlands, and get 35s on your own.

BD 2.7 Auto and Sasquatch, unless you desperately want the sway disco.

Sasquatch on BL does still get you the 4.70:1 gearing vs 4.46:1, and a slight factory lift. So just buying your own 35s =/= Squatch.

I agree 4 door, you probably ought to get 2.7 in any trim.

Seems short sighted to skip mid package

Spending 50k and not getting auto climate control, no intelligent access, and most of the other features people expect on a 30k car

Sacramento is hot as hell and miserable all summer, ain't nobody driving around too off when it's 108.

Seems like you are trying to buy on a budget which is respectable but you're also buying about the most expensive bronco possible.....

While you are at it, add the motor too

So with those requirements is the there a reason you wouldn't maybe consider the base model with the Sasquatch package and engine upgrade (2.7l auto). That would put you at $43,195 I believe (34,695 + 5K + 3.5K).

Well, the Base does not have the badlands suspension and the front sway bar.

But it fits your requirements of cheap(er) and still squatched out with front and rear lockers.
