Build date pushed back after being “scheduled to day”?

Anyone else had their build date pushed back after getting scheduled to day? Not trying to start a complaining thread just genuinely curious as I haven’t heard of that happening yet. I went from build day of 7/7 to build week of 8/2.

there was recent news about a delivery of damaged base boards or something for the 2 door that pushed a lot of 2 door orders into august

Man I’m my dealer’s bronco specialist and I swear I get more info about delays here than from anywhere else. At least now I’ll have that answer for my customers

here Is where it was discussed. Everyone that said they got pushed back to august have been a 2 door so I guess it can be accurate.

I would bet this is the normal delay process. I think if your build is delayed you must be put into a ‘week’ before the computer can put you onto a ‘day’.

If you're a 2-door, I think the computer just chuckles when assigning a build week or day.

June 14th then June 28th both scheduled build days. Then the week of July 5th then the week of July 19th, now the week of August 16th. BD MIC 4D 2.7 w/ Tow, non Sas.

I went from a “we’ll send you your build date in May” to a “we’ll get around to giving you a date sometime in the indefinite future.”

My date has changed three times, but not since the last Ford email on May 18. OBX, MIC, 2.7, High, leather, 4dr. Hopefully, my current June 28 date wont change, but, the week isnt over YET!

I had someone I know at Ford run my VIN and my To Date went from 7/7 (as reported by my dealer) to 7/1, so good for me?
