What is the cost of the instructions? For example, I assume the 2 door, Area 51 instruction cost is $60, and the other dollar figure, $170, is the estimate for the actual bricks? Thanks
That’s how I understand it. Now. 😉

I sent a message here and on IG. I'd love to purchase this for my Bronco!

I can not recommend this guy enough. The build is extremely fun and the attention to detail is impeccable. I left mine half complete for a while just because the chassis and engine model look so good without the body

That engine is missing a few thousand wires. 🤔

How about instructions and parts list to convert the body on the Lego defender to a 2 door Bronco?

I, too, have a lego defender and my first thought was that a conversion would be dope.

Thanks Everyone for your feedback and encouragement.

I certainly appreciate the orders that have come in so far - there is plenty of opportunity to get more out ahead of Christmas.

Thanks also to those who have ordered builds throughout the year and posted them in this thread with your endorsement. Without your support I would not have been able to create this project.

In answer to some of the questions that have come in:

- Very cool
You must be a master builder

Hah! Sometime I like to think so - but remember what Emmett taught us, "each one of us is the 'special' "

- This appears to be the most economical way to get a hardtop.

Yes is, and it cost almost nothing to get the softtop along at the same time.

- no brick constraints nice

There are a few constraints, but Lego is pretty adaptable - there is a lot of flexibity in the design already, but if you have a customised Bronco, I can probably create a model for it too.

- I love this! but I would never be able to build it adha

Although the model has a relatively large number of parts and a lot of working mechanicals, there are full instruction, and everyone who has gotten the model so far has been able to build their car. The instructions are also written in a way to make it possible to build the car at the same time with a friend.

- This is fantastic! I've been waiting on LEGO to put out an official set, maybe something under the Technic line. This is a great alternative! thank you.

Technic is great for the mechanical experience, but tends to limit the colour diversity of a build. This model features full technic mechanical systems, with a separate chassis (like the real Bronco), and a Lego System Body, which can be tailored to whatever colour you want to build.

- Is it possible to do a red heritage edition two door?

Yes, there are instructions to do the Heritage versions. These also currently have the exclusive Yellow, and a new Lego colour Bright Light Blue, which is close to the Robin's Egg colour. I am keen for someone to have a go at that version, I think it would be a very cool lego model.

- Will allocations keep us waiting a few years too!

So far I have been able to keep up with the orders that have come in. I have chatted with many real Bronco customers with tales of ordering disasters.

I'll respond to some more questions tomorrow.

Regards,

Peter

I'll answer more questions in a moment.

For now I'd like to encourage more BRONCO RAPTOR customers to look at requestingn LEGO instructions.

I was fortunate enough to work on this car in real life and know how truly awesome and capable it is.

Here is a taster video of the model in one of its many configurable conditions:

You do amazing work! Curious as to why you do the gray line at the bottom of the doors? Is it shadowing of some kind? Also, is the badging a sticker or is it a piece you stick on (asking for those of us that remove stickers :)).
