I own a model 3 and being able to go to a stop is very nice. You can also engage it from a stop as well. You don’t need interaction to accelerate in stop and go traffic. Tesla pushes the boundaries on what they allow with their cars which I like.

I wasn't a fan of adaptive cruise to be honest. This from someone who puts 40K or so a year on a vehicle with much of it on cruise. To each their own lol.

I live on Cruise Control.. use it even in the city driving around. This is the only real feature my current car does not have... looks like my next car is going to be without it as well cuz I ain't buying LUX just for it.
