This entire article seems to just regurgitate everything that's been out for weeks (and parts of the article seem questionable).
The headline puts me off the worst; "Unexpected Demand..." Really? Ford has been dangling the Bronco out there for years and they think the demand is unexpected?

demand is probably inflated due to many people ordering multiple broncos at different dealers. they order 5 broncos and only intend to purchase 1.

Agreed! I was thinking about this, this morning. Im a day 1 reserve, but would willingly wait for a green bronco. I dont know how much it would cost to get that color after market or the upkeep but im going to look into all my options

Build and price just days away
In mid-October, Ford is planning to allow Bronco reservation-holders into the system and custom design their two-door or four-door Bronco. This is known as the build, price and spec process. Official orders will need to be placed by the end of January 2021 and at that point, buyers will select their dealer of choice.

During this process, the order program will suggest nearby dealers based on the ZIP Code of the customer. In a twist, the customers will choose their dealers rather than the dealers getting a big inventory and inviting people to shop in the first year.

Oh boy, here we go again. This now makes August, by September, by the end of September, October and now mid October as all the different timeframes we’ve been given for BNP.

At least with the original Mustang, Ford knew how to ramp up production within three separate factories and crank out a MILLION of them in the first year.
