Build & Price PRE-GAME (warning: contains a poll)

How have you set aside time for Build & Price?

  • I am not ashamed to admit that I took the day-off

  • I am taking half day / leaving early as soon as the coast is clear

  • I plan on taking a loooooooong lunch

  • I already have my alarm set for early in the morning on Friday

  • I have set aside time in the evening & everyone knows not to bother me

  • I already made plans on Friday so it can wait until this weekend

  • I am super laid-back guy/gal and I will get to it when I get to it

  • I am one of the lucky ones that doesn't have to work on a Friday

  • Other

  • I have my alarm set for as soon as B&P goes live

  • I plan on "multi-tasking" at work

I am curious to see if anybody has actually taken the day off work, half a day, long lunch, etc. as well as what, if any, strategy and preparations they have done for “Game Day."

As far as preparation for B&P I am currently working on a spreadsheet the compares a Badlands and my desired options to a similarly built Rubicon. I also plan on taking an extended lunch, which is a normal Friday for me anyhow, but this time it will be dedicated to B&P and beer instead of just beer.

I have friends coming out for a bachelor party, so I already have tomorrow and Friday off. It's a super low key affair, so I should have time to mess with it Friday morning (if I don't annoy my wife and set my alarm for 1 AM tomorrow night).

I picked "other" because I basically roll out of bed and come straight into work. I'll act "busy" but in reality will just be playing around on BnP for a few hours.

I have to "work" but I've manged to make it a very relaxed day. I'll be building a spreadsheet and building a version of each trim level. I'll have drop downs for different packages, and different accessories I want. Some that I just need. Etc. Then I'll spend the second half of the day deciding where my priorities are.

...that's all assuming the B&P doesn't stay crashed most of the day. I DID read somewhere that they would open it up to reservation holders. Maybe they'll make you put in your res number to access it. I doubt it... but that's the only way it won't crash.

Cross your fingers!

Check your third to last option @BlueBronco there’s a misspelling that may offend someone. I know you meant “gal” though

???
