Well, we got her! They parked her right up front, so when we got done signing and walked out, she was right there for us.

Great experience overall. I didn’t bother asking for retail price protection again. I saw her and knew I wouldn’t walk for $1,300. I fell in love! All the other numbers were as discussed and no funny business!

It's been a long day.

What?! They had your Bronco?! That’s awesome..so happy for you! Did you do what I did..see your Bronco, fall in love and not bother asking about price protection? I knew I wasn’t getting it, so I just didn’t see the point. I just wanted my Bronco!

That sucks! Gosh, I hope they get it soon! I’m sure you waited so long for your Bronco, and then to have to give it up and wait for repair is terrible!

I left a msg for the fleet manager, and a coupla hours later I got a call saying The Dayum Thang was there!!!
Funny how that happens.
I got out of there about 7 PM...driving up The BloodBath Known as I-35, in a new vee-hickle, not knowing what all them dayum lights and beeps and boops mean.
Anyways, made it home.
Did some minimal 4wheelin check out today; drove over a dead tree, HEB trip, etc, etc...

pure curiosity on those of us on the 10-17 thread... if you have your bronco, does your alternator voltage bounce around? mine will do 14.6-15.1 on cold start, then wander down to 13.4 ish, and after a bit of driving it's almost like the alternator turns off. 12.7 to 12.9. Then it'll come back to 13.4 to 14.4 and back to 12.7.

i'm not used to "smart systems" on the modern stuff. So maybe this is normal behavior? no warnings, everything is happy and it drives fine.

Yes mine definitely does that. Havent been paying attention too much. Ut usually when on the gas you are reading the alternator putting out 15 V and then when coasting or Cruising it's closer to the 13 I'm used to seeing

ok that is what I was thinking. mine jumps around no matter what gas pedal position i'm at. usually just cruising around 35-45 it's changing voltages about every 1-3 minutes.

I hope all on this build week have either taken delivery or are shipped at this point. I had a very fortunate day today after this long wait.
In lieu of my 2022 Wildtrak I am purchasing a 2022 Braptor. One hour after I consummated the deal on the Braptor, I received an email from Ford with the picture of my Wildtrak coming off the assembly line!! Strange timing to say the least!
