Howdy,
I have started some conversations with my local forest service, state parks, and tread lightly about building some new trails here in Wyoming that are geared towards rock crawling. There is an area north of my hometown that would rival the famous Rubicon trail.
Laramie Peak is composed mostly of Precambrian granite that rises up from the high plains (7200 ft) to around 10,200 feet. It was an historic landmark for pioneers along the Oregon trail.
Right now it seems like a pipe dream and there is only some trails in the area, but if anyone has experience in this field please PM me or share your experience. If you would like to help with the cause please reach out to. This place would be so unique to the off-road community if it were to happen!
Thanks
