What size bolts fit the factory anchor points for the cargo tie down system? Seems to be an M8, but the thread pitch is wrong..
I believe it's M8 1.25 is what worked for me. Ive taken them in and out a half dozen times or so and no issues.

Weird. I took one of the bolts to home Depot and tried every M8 and 7/16th I could find and nothing would thread on. I was really confused because m8 only comes in two pitch options as far as I know - 1.0 and 1.25

I'm having this same issue. Were you ever able to find a bolt that worked? I've tried a bunch of M8 125s and it threads in a turn and stops. I don't want to strip out those inserts.

I built a rear platform that bolts into existing tie down locations. It is out of wood, I used 3/4 inch oak plywood for strength and coated it with the spray can version of Bed liner. Features are:

- Just high enough to store two Rigid boxes underneath
- Still have access to factory back storage
- embedded E-track, 6 points removable tie downs or any E Track attachment.
-On the front of the platform I added a plate with rare earth magnets to attach another panel for a completely flat sleeping surface

I love this! I was looking to see if someone sold something like this and saw that you had made one! I would love to get a carpeted version of something like this. Have you seen any by chance or want to sell yours? LOL!!

I've not seen one like it. Are you in AZ by chance?

No, I am in Florida. However, reading the boards further, I found that people are able to put a 2' x 4' board across the top and it fits behind the rear seat of a 4-door perfectly. I will probably go that route.

Yeah that's a quick and easy route to go. The one I did is a bit more involved. You'll love have the flexibility of added storage. One thing that's worked well for the top is the bedliner coating. It's just the cheap spray can version but works well enough.
