This is the minimum to make it flat in a 2dr. About 5” total.Mine is about 8 inches which is more than it needs to be by about an inch and a half to 2 inches assuming your platform for sleeping is at the tip of the back seats when folded. It was a sacrifice I made to ensure the Ridgid boxes fit underneath it. I can sit up on the platform and still not hit the roof. I'm shorter 5-8
I'm sure this has been asked before, but what kind of length are you getting in the 2-door with the platform? And how much extra could you get with the rear seats removed? This is the minimum to make it flat in a 2dr. About 5” total.
You could cheat it to about 67-68” by removing the seat bottom on the passenger side and flipping the headrest to the down position Rather than up. Pull the pass. seat forward all the way and fill the void with a panel. Get creative with a pillow and sleeping position and it might work in a pinch.I'm sure this has been asked before, but what kind of length are you getting in the 2-door with the platform? IntrestingI built a rear platform that bolts into existing tie down locations. It is out of wood, I used 3/4 inch oak plywood for strength and coated it with the spray can version of Bed liner. Features are:
- Just high enough to store two Rigid boxes underneath
- Still have access to factory back storage
- embedded E-track, 6 points removable tie downs or any E Track attachment.
-On the front of the platform I added a plate with rare earth magnets to attach another panel for a completely flat sleeping surface
What sorcery is this 2DR platform and drawers? Custom made or purchased? This is now my first mod when my rig arrives. Well done for sure! This is the minimum to make it flat in a 2dr. About 5” total.
Just kinda whipped it up. i needed a flat platform for my kennel and wanted to keep the back seats. Built it out of birch plywood. Covered it with cheap marine carpeting. Drawers are shallow but hold the top bags, hitch drawbar, jumper cables, tow strap. What sorcery is this 2DR platform and drawers? Custom made or purchased? I suppose theoretically you could add a removable seat. Seat belts would be the issue I think. All mounting points are factory no holes drilled. The factory holes are threaded and just bought threaded bolts that match. There are 8 of them in total.Intresting
Would this work to apply a third row seat on it? Do you have images from the undercarriage, showing where your drill came out from the otherside.
Cheers

There's a equal but opposite curve in the tailgate interiorThis is really great....just curious, what's the reason/purpose that the left drawer is curved?

That’s awesome, can you post your measurements? I’d love to do this in my 2 door. This is the minimum to make it flat in a 2dr. About 5” total.
