In 2017 the F-150 was, which is what I have. It was even higher in 16. Didn’t realize it had dropped but been 3 plus years since I researched.

Built in the USA-How important is it for you?

As all of you know, the new Bronco will be built in Wayne, Michigan USA. (Compared to it’s little sister built in MX)

So, I am curious to know, how important is this fact for all of you?

Is this one of the deciding factors to purchase this vehicle?
Not the most important deciding factor but It makes things even better!

Built here in the states is a big positive for me. I try to source US made parts and materials for my company as it is, and having a US built vehicle helps

Quite a few distorted generalizations here..

It would be a dealbreaker if it wasn't. I have VERY in-depth firsthand knowledge of how Japanese manufacturing is run and even putting aside the fact that they have a culture of deliberately treating their workers as poorly as possible, the products themselves are engineered to shave off every fraction of a penny in order to make the cheapest product that can still be considered "functional." There's a reason that old American cars become classics and old Japanese cars become soda cans.
Couldn’t take any of your points seriously after this bolded bit.
Every major Japanese manufacturer had classics produced from the ‘60 to the '90s
Here are a few of the 'soda cans' you're referring to that are faring better in today's 2nd hand market than their American counterpart:

Pepsi 4runner
Coke AE86
Sprite FJ40
7-up FJ60
A&W NSX
Dr. Pepper 510

..the list goes on and on, I just ran out of sodas ;)

Now I'm not trying to deduce that American cars of that era are shit. All I'm saying is that their Japanese counterparts are doing just fine today.
The vast documented history of Japanese craftsmanship and engineering outside of automotive spans back way before our time to discount in a matter of one post.

Very important. I won't buy a vehicle that was made outside of the U.S.A.

That said many "foreign" companies have plants here in the states, and many "domestic" companies manufacture in Mexico or Canada. I'd buy a Texas-made Toyota over a Canadian Fiat Chrysler any day.

Big Plus!
I think this is the right term for me. I'd still buy, but like it's assembled here. I hate to see U S jobs keep disappearing because products get built in another country. This slowly happened in the company I spent most of my adult life working for. Now, an outside company builds nearly all of their products.

Probably fine.

Turns out humans can be trained to the same level regardless of country or origin, and quality control standards can be held anywhere.

Shocker, I know.

The fact that the new Bronco is made here is absolutely critical for me. If it wasn’t, I would pass.

That’s an insult to the Tahara Aichi plant if you think their build quality can be matched in China, or even Mexico for that matter.

If what you say was true then the American built Toyota’s wouldn’t have quality on par with domestic automakers while the Japanese plants are still building to the standard that built Toyota’s reputation.

I would not touch any Chinese built car let alone engine/transmission assemblies - slave labor has never been the pinnacle of quality.

Back in the early 1990's when Acura was building the first NSX, I recall a story about how Honda moved employees with 20+ years experience to the NSX assembly line. Does anyone know if anything similar happened with US companies? The Continental comes to mind as a possibility. Do employees "move up" from Chevy to Cadillac or from Ford to Lincoln? I really don't know. Or has the automated nature of most car builds basically idiot-proofed it? And please don't infer that I think that that's necessarily a bad thing. After all, my iPhone keeps much better time than my mechanical watch---hand-made isn't necessarily better quality than an assembly line.

I'm still mulling over the OP's question...
