Bull Bar / Safari Bar Installation?

Anyone installed the Ford OEM Bull/Safari bar? I mean, have you personally done it? It looks as simple as unscrewing and screwing in 8 bolts into the steel MOD bumper. Would love to hear from someone who has done it. Thanks

I have uninstalled one. I have the FE and it had one. I am not a fan. 8 torx plus bolts later, its hanging on my wall! I just put the bolts back in to cover the holes.

I installed version 2.0 that doesn’t cover all the grill letters Easy install bought for around 325 from ruxor ford search site and you can find their info

I added it after the fact. Just reuse the bolts that come in the bumper. Not sure what their accessory "kit" comes with, but you need nothing additional to install besides the bar itself.

Did you put locktite on the bolts?

Any chance you would be willing to take some close-up picks of the mounting surface of the bar? Trying to understand how ford accounts for the small rigs that stand off the face of the bumper after the bolts are removed.

I didn’t good idea though I was already thinking about my next mod Will add to both I did add adhesive felt to bottom of design diode ditch lights

Yeah it’s a factory 2.0 design from ruxor fits perfect

That is what I've been looking for. I dropped mine when they redesigned it. Twice the height and 1/2 the strength, looked like the perfect height to get to the radiator. Where did this one come from???

Their lead time is about a month. It's in Canada, but they ship to the US and it's cheaper than the Ford one
