Does anyone else get a burning smell when driving their Bronco in 4A or Slippery Mode?

Thank youI did on mine but it went away after a while.
I assumed it was oils/greases getting up to temp for the first time.
If any other comments follow up with identified issues, I'd be curious what they are.
Slippery mode engages 4AWhen are you using slippery mode?
Remember, you shouldn't use slippery mode just because it's raining or snowing. That will damage your drivetrain.
You should only use slippery mode when you're literally on something slipping and your wheels are actually losing traction.
4A is perfectly fine in any situation, though.
You sure? I got this from the manual. I says part time engagement up top but at the bottom it says that 4H is the default drive modeSlippery mode engages 4A
Yup. I’m sure. Just got home from work. Was using slippery on the way home. 4A was what was selected and lit up.You sure? I got this from the manual. I says part time engagement up top but at the bottom it says that 4H is the default drive mode

SLIPPERY - 4X4 WITH PART TIME ENGAGEMENT
For less than ideal road conditions, you can use this mode for crossing terrain where a firm surface is covered with loose or slippery material, such as snow or ice. Slippery mode lowers throttle response and optimizes shifting for slippery surfaces.
Four-wheel drive high (4H) is the default four-wheel drive mode. All four-wheel drive modes are selectable in slippery mode.
