We needed to communicate with each other, when offroading, so I bought 2 of these kits! I wanted the 45-watt, but they only had one in stock, so I settled for these, which worked amazingly last weekend!

I ordered a pair of Rugged's Antenna Dust Cap Covers, but they didn't fit, so I modified them to fit, LOL!

We finally were able to go offroading last Sunday!

My wife found these auto-on/off under hood LED kits, so I bought a pair of them and will hopefully get them installed in a couple weekends?

I also finally painted the Mirror Covers I ordered months ago, April/May, (I think?), Gloss White to go on her Bronco. Going to let them dry and see if they need anymore coats, then I'll install them on her Bronco, along with the White Door Handle Covers I found for her!

We went off-roading a week before and my wife decided she wanted the Undercloak on her Butterscotch! She did quite well on her 2nd off-roading trip, with just her and I this time!

So I ordered those from Metalcloak and they showed up last week, before the 3 day weekend! Jackass new FedEx guy, just threw them down in front of my wife's garage door.... Our old driver used to stack them up beside our fence...., I miss that guy.

Luckily, I beat her home and moved them to the rear garage!

I unboxed everything and when she got home from work, I started throwing them on immediately and not too far into it, they also forgot the same damn fuel tank mount bracket, that they forgot on mine!

I had a lot tougher time installing hers, than mine took.... One skid plate slid off the floor jack and almost broke my nose... Blood went everywhere, but luckily, it wasn't broken! It just hurt so bad the rest of the weekend

We were planning on riding today, but I felt awful at work yesterday and slept for almost 13 hours last night. When I woke up this morning, it was almost 9am and I felt so much better. I played Star Wars Outlaws for a little bit, then I decided to start working on my wife's Bronco!

Last Friday, Metalcloak overnighted me the missing bracket, but I didn't have time to install the rest of the skid plates, until today... I also had to go buy all of the locking nuts and one bolt, for the muffler skid plate, since they didn't bother to include those either.... I don't know what's going on with their packaging dept lately, they're really off their A-game! This was what I got in the package...

Anyway, I got the fuel and muffler skid plates installed.

She also said from our last off-roading trip, that the front camera really didn't help her much, because all she saw was the top of the winch...., so I ordered her a Mountains 2 Metal Front Camera Relocater Kit and installed it today.

That solved her issue! I have one to install on mine as well, but it will be a week or so before I get around to installing it... I wish we could change the color of the 360* camera Bronco color...?

I also ordered the BroncBushing and BroncBracers from BroncBuster for hers too.

Man, getting the Black OEM plastic bushing thingy out of the 3.0 rack was an awful nightmare! It took way longer than it did on the 2.0 rack!

I used a narrow flat head screw driver and smacked it with a hammer, trying to "cut" the bushing into smaller pieces. It worked, but took at least an hour and was time consuming!

Finally! All of the OEM bushing has been removed! I blew it out well and made sure it was clean for the new bushing!

It's difficult to see, but the White piece around the rack piston is installed and the snap ring is in place! I may upgrade the passengers side to the Billet housing next year, but unsure if it'll need that or not?

I finished it up with installing the BroncBracers! These were kind of a PITA to tighten....

Hopefully, her Bronco is about finished? She wants some old school KC Daylighters, so I'm going to find her something that she might like. I have to figure out how to wire up the Upfitter Switches as well...?

Next weekend, we're going to attempt to go riding to a park we haven't been to since early 2016!

I agree ford screwed that up I do like the black wheels they don’t look like pvc like the white ones

Why do the non-Limited Heritages come with white wheels then?

She didn't like the Black/Silver HEL wheels. Mine had those crappy "beadlock" Bad Land wheels, which I didn't like. The whole point of making them look like a 1966 "Heritage" Bronco was white top, grille and wheels. I remember seeing white wheels on everything stock, when I was a kid.

The last time we went offroading, in early February, when we were airing up, my wife noticed something different on her Bronco, (I thought I had a pic of it, but couldn't find it...), she hit something against the passengers side running board and bent the bracket upwards. It didn't cause any body damage, but we couldn't get the bracket pushed back down, so she decided on installing some OEM rock rails.


Took me over a month to find a stock set of rock rails and the only ones I could find close by, were for a 4 door..., but at least they had the mounting brackets, for $100, plus about a 2 hour round trip.

When she got home from work that afternoon, I started modifying the rails to fit the 2 door.

I believe I cut off 15.5" of the rear part of the rails?

And these are the 2 mounts you'll use for the 2 door. These would be the middle mounts for the 4 door.

I ordered her some IAG steps, since she's 5'3" I will post pics of them, once I install them.

I agree to each their own we all have our own taste on things I just wish they had done Wimbledon the original colors I love the yellow they have one in hartselle just like it little out of reach for me! Lol

TBH, I don't really care for the Wimbledon White color.... I like the Bright White, LOL! I originally had a different thought for mine though... I was going to spray the top a tan color and add Bronze or old school polished 8 hole wheels. I definitely do not like the Grey or MIC OEM tops...

If my dad hadn't had passed, and left us some money, we would still be driving the Rubicon and Ranger... I make decent money, but not enough to buy two $70k Bronco's, LOL!

Installed the IAG Steps on the OEM Rails yesterday. These things are ridiculously prices, from $200-$500... She wanted a Yellow IAG badge, but they didn't offer it...
