Thanks. Yeah, it needs some work and isnā€™t a truly restored one, but it is an amazingly clean for $4500. 331 stroker with probably one of the smoothest idles Iā€™ve ever seen.

And it handles great, wheel is light as a feather. It has brand spanking new 33 MTs, no leaks except front diff, auto hubs that work, no working a/c though, no radio, windows donā€™t all work properly, but Iā€™ve spares for much of that. All in all I think itā€™s a solid deal.

Noticed many Blue Ovals in the background. (y)

Nice looking ride you found there and at a great price for what you received!
yeah, there's a number of them around. the t-bird isn't mine, borrowing that from my mom until I have this B ready for the road, insurance, title, what not. I also have a POS 250 that is getting sold as soon as it is out of the shop, was my dd. you can see my 82 bronco (avatar truck), can kinda see my 02 f-150, only new vehicle I've ever bought, and my ford tractor in the back as well, 56ish 840.

what you can't see is what is in the shed next to the bronco behind those doors, that is the 71 mach 1.

and then there is the wife's 4runner she wants to replace with a new bronco. (pretty sure she's going to want to use this bronco I just got instead of the 4runner....)

there's also a couple of bikes, Ford never made a motorcycle though so those aren't blue ovals.

and the picture earlier while towing, my dad's 250.

ā€˜85-86 wood grain upgrade? Much nicer wood than the ā€˜83.

not sure I know exactly what you mean, tbh I do not know my Bronco's as good as I know my mustangs. Just that 1st gen is 66-77, 2nd is 78/79, bullnose is 80-86 and the rest look like shit so who cares about anything 87+? (until 2021, those look nice....)

Oh, and I think I get ya, the ad was for an 83. the morning I left it was updated to 85, and by the title is for an 86 (the vin on the truck matched the title, about all I cared about)....I won't say anything mean about the seller, he was a nice damn fella. great guy. the guy he had taking care of his ads...well.... I was fine with the year so long as it was 86 or earlier.

Right on, ā€˜86 was the year of my families Bronco and that was the truck that started my love of Broncos.

That looks and sounds like about 6 city and 8 highway...

I'm actually considering doing an old Bronco II... if I can find one worthy of doing.
