Modifying? I would assume NONE. Why would anything needed to be modified besides removing the other roof/top?
That's the whole point of offering the dual roof package. Some will want the hardtop on in winter and the soft top in summer. It should be a simple swap without modifying anything. The one I'm not so sure of is the Freedom top that replaces the front panels on the 4 door. That looks like it's screwed to the 2nd row panel.

It seems (so far anyway) that you have to get at least the Outer Banks trim to get the modular hardtop.

Any word if Ford will sell the Modular Hardtop as an accessory? Like Jeep / Mopar will.
