Hello 6G friends,

I made my way to another Dealer Event and it was the BEST! Dealer is Hines Park Ford in Milford MI and boy did they put on a nice event! I realize we've already had lots of FE CG sighting and pics so I apologize in advance for duplicate pics but hopefully a few new things as well.

I've order a CG 4-door BL, so it was so so awesome to see one in the raw and watch the color changes in the paint with different lighting. For the most part it was 16:00 - 17:30 sunshine but some shadows as well.

Some light observations:

1. CG!
2. Look at all the Bronco Sports they have in stock!
3. Check out the Bronco Sport in White and CG side by side
4. Guy sitting in the Bronco is "me" in orange vest and torn jeans like that other posting ;-)
5. I'm 6' even and seat was all the way back and actually it was too far back for my liking
6. Laser tape measure (more stealth than metal tape measure) shows front door to door of measurement of 59.3" (+/- margin of error since I was going fast)
7. Laser tape measure of rear seating surface to back of front seat that was all the way back (I hope it was) of 8.4" (+/- margin for me)
8. Sorry, no more measurements. I know, I know, all you techie guys would of had every area measured and compared against Ford specs to sah "ah ha", got you ;-)
9. Notice CG in different light, really different and cool.
10. Some of the known Easter eggs; upper felt on wheel well....couldn't photograph well; Lasso is cool
11. Marketing staff was fairly knowledgeable; They probably cram info each evening by reading all of you on Bronco 6G ;-)
12. What's up with the #1 of 7000? I thought I say that one sell on Barrett-Jackson auction this past weekend or was that VIN .....0001
13. OMG, the swag! They hired a gourmet coffee bar! I was already jacked up on my daily fix of 12-cups so it wasn't wise at 17:00 to slug back another
14. Gourmet cookies from local Howell, MI bakery
15. Beer Kosy (since only Beer should go in one)
16. Last but not least, some bada$$ metal Bronco signage; OMG I can't believe they were handing these out and I hope some of you will also experience these road shows.
17. Some of these Marketing folks said they were headed to Buffalo NY tomorrow!

Enjoy friends,
Bruce.

Nice!!! Thanks for the pictures and the write up. My question is a little different since you have seen it twice in person.

Going back the second time and looking with a critical eye, was there anything you wished Ford had done differently?

For example, I keep eyeing the parking break and wishing they had given me a center lever style vs the pull. Anyway, just wondering if you saw anything that didn’t seem right.

OP where were you holding that tape measure for the front width? A B or C?

I have a theory that the bronco feels bigger in person because the B pillars are super thick to support the roof structure and the 57.1” front shoulder room is from b pillar to b pillar, and the shallow light weight doors add 1” inch additional clearance on each side so real world feel is two inches more at 59.1”. Your laser measure shows 59.3”. Those two inches make a big difference and slot this closer to a true midsized suv

Like your question. Actually, I don't like all the plastic and the area above the glove box is way too large of an area for me for plastic! My 1988 Bronco II had a sweet cut-out in that space where you could put all sorts of things...no cell phones back then but other gadgets, box of kleenex etc. Maybe another oh-$hit bar etc etc would have been better.

Hi - my middle age brain can't even be 100% certain but it's at least "C" and maybe even "D" i.e. just above "C". I was sitting in the passenger seat and holding above thighs and therefore higher than A, B. The rig has great presence on the outside and inside; doesn't feel as snug as a Wrangler...which isn't bad, just different.

#18 on my list - I didn't care for the "blue" leather seats; the dark gray/black MGV on the BL and the two-tone Gray on the BD blow it away IMHO (opinion friends, don't kill me) ;-)

Cactus Grey looks really good here. These are the first pictures that I actually see the light blue undertones that people say it has.

Come on man.... Don't leave that out there!!
That's what she said 😔

Back on track now... @sasquatchrox ... Thank you for the write up... Like you eluded to, pics, we've seen plenty of. But getting your thoughts and opinions is worth way more at this point in time. I'm literally counting down the days to the 2 reservations I made at dealers to see end of April.
