Cactus Grey vs Lunar Rock

Finding Lunar Rock is not easy around here. The dealer says it's a fast moving color on their lot. I showed him my paint sample and he said that it's CLOSE to LR, but LR is slightly darker. He also commented that when it was next to Dodge Destroyer Gray (see image) that the LR color appeared BLUER than my color sample.

I took my photos of what they had to compare and left for another day. LR will have to wait.

Comparing it to a Greyer tone, really brings out the green tint in it. Hope you find one on lot somewhere. Really queries to so apples to apples.

That's the fun of this color. There is no green tint. It's the perception of green that you see when there is no reference color close to help "correct" your perception of the color. In some situations, it's blue.

I'm not sure either of those images give a great indication of the true colors

Lunar Rock has been discussed in other threads over the past months though so the comparison has been made before

How close do you think these colors are? I haven't seen either in person and one picture is in the sun vs inside.
They look pretty close to me. I still havent finalized my color choice, I'm scrambling like mad to decide.

Your bronco pic looks like Area 51 to me.

There seems to be a lot of the CG Sports around. I guess you need to see for yourself. I saw green in it in person.

Its weird how at certain angles it looks pretty close, but in others not at all.
