Hey guys, wanted to share an update on the @vision.creative.co Camera Car Bronco built by APG. We made a video together showing the progress of my build from stock to pretty built up.
From the factory:
2021 Bronco Badlands Sasquatch
2.7L Automatic
Soft Top
Carbonized Gray
Lux Package
We film all of APG's video content, and we also work with lots of other off road brands. As we started filming more and pushing our Bronco, we wanted to upgrade the suspension to something that would eat up the small trail chatter better than the factory Bilsteins. We went with the APG MidRunnner suspension system. This was a really great upgrade that worked well for all the slower and mid speed driving. Eventually we wanted to go faster and harder, and we upgraded the suspension more.
We went with the APG Bolt On Long Travel suspension system. This allowed us to keep the front King Shocks we had already bought from the MidRunner kit (we just did a re-spring and re-valve) and went to 14" King coilovers in the rear. The difference was night and day for Mid speed and high speed driving off road. So much more travel to eat the bigger hits and keep our camera car rolling smooth. We also added 37" Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT's and KMCxAPG Beadlocks so we can air down super low. We will often times run 8-10 PSI off road to help with road chatter. At the same time we did the Broncbuster steering upgrades and added APG/Bronco raptor tie rods.
As much as we enjoyed the Mad Max look of no fenders, we decided it was time to upgrade to the all carbon APG body system. We think it looks great and we love the added tire clearance. At some point in the future, we may upgrade the axles and do 40's, but we are loving it for now!
Overall the build has been super fun and meets our needs better than anything else out there! Feel free to ask any questions you have, or check us out on Instagram at @vision.creative.co
Thanks!
