Can’t think of a blessed aux switch item that I want/need - novelty of aux switches still worth it?

As mentioned in another post today, because the 4 door soft top will not come with the wiring for the rear windshield wiper, I may need to use one of the switches for the rear windshield wiper if I ever add a hardtop in the future.

My thoughts exactly. A good friend here @AzScorpion advised adding them, and I was thinking what can I use them for. Then I thought, what the hell, it's better to have them and not need them than the other way 'round. In the big scheme of things what's another 195 bucks added to $45,000. And, if I never use them the second owner may. Also, if nothing else, I can have fun making things up when asked "what are those switches for"? :)

It's cheap, I would imagine it will cost more aftermarket, could be wrong and you never know.

I think it’s really worth the money. But what if it causes “late availability “

If you're not going to use, them, don't buy them. I'm in the same boat. IF you do get the switches, you lose the sunglass holder. It's one or the other.
I have a pair of sunglasses in my sunglass holder, but can't remember the last time I wore them. The switches would be more useful for me. The sunglasses can go in the glove box.

I thought this has long since been proven incorrect?

Then where do you put your gloves? It’s a slippery slope.

For everyone saying “resale value” you won’t get $200 more than an identical Bronco without them and not having them won’t make buyers walk away.

Nope, according to Bronco Nation, no wiring unless you get the hard top. I think it was in the Q&A the other day, as well, but can't remember.

Edit: Apparently we have a thread dedicated to it that I missed.
They also have a video showing the soft top removal and the wiring is in place.

Not having a rear locker will limit some buyers on the used market, I have no guess if it holds its value.
I’m not choosing options based on resale since this is custom ordered for me I’m getting exactly what I want in my off-roader.

I would expect your are right. The labor to get the wiring in place would probably cost more than the switches.
