My MIC 2.0 definitely had some air making its way through the seams. Never had a leak, though.

Now that I've got a sunrider up front, I'm definitely not chancing it.

If you're talking a soft top, then yes. Just did a touchless wash this last weekend. The top handled the dryer just fine, got a little noisy, but it handled the wash and dry just fine. No water leaks either.
