I'm getting my beauty rings powder coated. Can I drive without them for a few days while they're getting done? I assume so but wanted to make sure and not do something stupid.

I drove without mine for 3 weeks. No issues.

How bad was it to get the bolts out?

No problem for me. Started each with a hand socket then moved to the drill to speed things up.

I actually prefer the look of no beauty ring. Wish I knew that before getting them powder coated....I haven't committed yet but I plan to roll without them full time.

Not only a valid question, but also re-installing them once he gets them back. Be careful! I had one or two bolts not want to go back in fully and I had to replace them (at about $25 CDN MSRP per bolt; fortunately I got them for less than that).

Those rings are just helpers. If you air down suppose to help hold the tire on the rim.

Great tip to use the drill. Thanks.

I'm not a fan of no ring.... Looks unfinished. The black rings look great in my opinion.
