Can OEM Rock Rails and Side Step be installed at same time?

There are aftermarket side steps that mount to the OE rock rails. I'm planning on ordering a Wildtrak and will add the OE rails and IAG steps (so I can remove them). Probably go the full length rather than the individual steps but...there are options so...

You cant have both OE versions, Ive taken off the Rock Rails to put the running boards on and you have to remove brackets from the rock rail to put the running boards on.

Ford also I believe offers steps for the rock rails similar to the aftermarket ones.

Yeah I have the oem side steps and hate the look of the empty mounting holes on sides
