Can someone explain the price difference between 2-door and 4-door Base?

On the Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands and Wildtrack, the price upcharge from 2-door to 4-door is $2495.

Base 4-door includes the Auto Transmission (worth $1595), so the price difference should be $4090, right?

How do you explain the B&P difference of $6295? Is there actually a $2205 discount on the 2-door Base, just so Ford can sell a sub-$30k Bronco??

Not necessarily so they can sell "Under $30k". It's so they can Market "Under $30k".

With this weekend's pricing shenanigans, it makes a BaseMan 2-door look all the more attractive.

Yeah I think you figured it out. They want very much to say they meet or beat Jeep at all the benchmarks. 2 door base MT is a great deal (even/especially with aftermarket mods) and you can tell Ford doesn't want many to go that route. Really, no tow package option on base? Really?

Really though, no different than any other manufacturer. You can tell Jeep does everything they can to upsell the Wrangler's features while advertising the sport model price.
