No.
You have to remove the grille.
It seems to be very easy to do, by the way.
Removing the letters is harder. They have tabs on the back that are melted over. It is possible. I saw a Facebook post within the last week where someone did it, painted them, put them back on.

The guy that does the TCC Customs videos says they are removable. Not too sure how involved it is though.

I’d love to mod these, for sure.

Cyber-Orange colored, or backlit would be awesome!
i wanna change mine with those letters like how badass it would be for more grills to show in the market like the RTR grill just like the jeep you can make the front grill angry

WTH would you want to do that. That is a super cool feature and a throwback to the Early Bronco (EBs had FORD there but the letters between the lights was a distinctive Bronco thing).

If you don't already have a VIN it's probably gonna be a while until you get your WT, I would say there are going to be plenty of aftermarket grills to choose from in the very near future so you probably won't have to worry about modifying stock parts to get the look you want.

Update: Bronco assembly further delayed due to Ford running out of the letters “ B, O, and N”. In reality, if the letters were installed separately, Ford would have to hire and place an English major at the end of the line to ensure the word Bronco was correctly spelled.
