Can the painted mirror caps come off and is MIC underneath?

Anyone have good insight to this? I saw the Broncos here in Pittsburgh yesterday and totally forgot to look at this on the FE, if the mirror cap can come off easily and if MIC black is underneath.

I'm sure they come off and could be replaced by the black plastic caps but I'd imagine they are two different part numbers.

Here is what's under the F150 mirror caps. You will have to buy the black plastic caps if you remove the painted caps. Or trade with someone.

One thing to note about the Bronco's mirrors is that unlike the F-150's pictured above, it is not just the top part of the cap, but the entire mirror cover, and also surrounds the camera and puddle lamp (if equipped), so if you do take it off be mindful of that.:

Yeah these are not some color she'll put on over..they are the actual housing.

My Bronco will come with Gloss Black and I'd rather have MIC.

I know this is an old post but I am also getting a Wildtrak and as you may know 2022 have the MIC mirror caps. If you want I will be happy to trade.

Didn't get a 2021 so in the same boat. Actually I'm happy because I prefer the MIC color for both mirrors and door handles. The rate I'm going though will have to see what 2023 brings!
