I have no desire to attach a bunch of crap to the back of my seat so it can clang around. Will the front seats be available with regular map pockets instead of the molle straps?

Nope. But you could always strap a map pocket to it! ;)

Bronco sport gets stupid straps as you call them. Only Black Diamond, Badlands, and possibly FE have the molle panels that seem to be attached with Bronco Bolts.
Sorry, stupid hard plastic panels.

I’m sure a lot of people will find the straps useful. I personally don’t have a bunch of carabiners laying around so I’d probably never use them. With that said, I hardly ever use the seat back pockets either. They mainly only get used when on a long trip and the kids need to hide their iPad somewhere. Seems like the zipper pockets of the bronco sport are the best solution here.

Ok this signals we are officially running out of valid complaints regarding the BRONCO smh
I thought the same thing ... I fully expect the next complaints to not wanting removable tops (don't want them to leak) and removable doors (don't want worn / wobbly door connection points).

Edit: I love they have molle grids on all versions and not limit to options / trims.

Oh, the removable top complaint has already come...a few were clamoring for a fixed top. People will literally complain about every single little thing, with no let up. It's like Grandpa Simpson around here....
