If your brave enough, you can cut a little off the coil spring at a time, but you'd have to reinstall it to see the change, then repeat. Other option is have a steel box built for storage that will weight the back down.
This could well make the ride rougher. It will increase spring rate.
The ideal way around this then is custom shorter springs. There are still shops that do it.

I was wondering can you lower rear of bronco 1 inch? And if so how!
an acetylene torch heating up the coil spring will help you lower the rear by an inch or so...

You can lower the rear. Change the springs, cut the springs, or go to adjustable coilovers. The least expensive and proper way is to replace the springs with a shorter spring. Coilovers will be the most expensive but also correct way to lower. Cutting the springs is the cheapest but not the correct way to do it.

just let some pressure out of the rear tires.

Spring rate would remain the same, but those bottom out bumpers would get closer.

Fill the spare with water? Or put lead in the rear bumper?

No, a shorter spring will have more strain per unit length travelled with all else equal. This means more strain and a higher rate. Basic physics.

Technically, it does, but for a 1/2" drop it would be unnoticeable on a 5000 lb truck.

I wound up here looking for an answer since I have a similar question. This thread is exhausting with like one real answer.

The dude said 1" not 15" or slam it to the ground, is it really that crazy to want it level without raising it higher? Isn't the entire point of this vehicle to be customizable to ones preferences or is it "customizable as long as it's 35's and a lift otherwise gtfo"

I get what you’re trying to do. (y) If you could drop the rear an inch to level it out, it would have a nice look with 33s. Going up will make your tires look small.
