I have a pretty bad chip on my A-pillar. (No idea how this happened). With Cyber Orange being a tri-coat, can it be touched up? Anyone have tips? This is something I've never tried to do before.

Thanks. Looks like this is what I would need.
Did you use a primer?Get the OEM touch-up here…. It says Bronco Sport, but the paint code (SB) is the same. I’ve used it, along with the clear coat brush, and it’s brilliant. Just remember: Be patient, go slow, and less is more.

No. And he’ll explain why in the vid, too. But basically, the primer will add an extra layer that’ll cause the area to be raised in the end. We’re not machines, so we can’t put these coats on as thinly or efficiently, so he skips that step. And I’ll be honest, I’ve always skipped primer and NEVER had an issue with adherence, or a chip, afterwards. However, I NEVER skip the clear. Always put on clear to seal job.Did you use a primer?
