I have a pretty bad chip on my A-pillar. (No idea how this happened). With Cyber Orange being a tri-coat, can it be touched up? Anyone have tips? This is something I've never tried to do before.

Definitely. Motorcraft's touch up paints are around 20-25 bucks and they have a basecoat and a topcoat, and a little abrasive thing on the end to rough it up.

Also, go to the 14 min. mark of this vid and use this guy’s method of application: Absolutely brilliant. I’ve never had a touch-up look this good until I used this guy’s method (using masking tape).

For the clear coat, I just used the foam applicator that came with the OEM paint, as it allowed me to spread a very thin layer of clear (2 coats).

Did you use a primer?
No. And he’ll explain why in the vid, too. But basically, the primer will add an extra layer that’ll cause the area to be raised in the end. We’re not machines, so we can’t put these coats on as thinly or efficiently, so he skips that step. And I’ll be honest, I’ve always skipped primer and NEVER had an issue with adherence, or a chip, afterwards. However, I NEVER skip the clear. Always put on clear to seal job.
