I don't think it matters what brand but components matter. I mean the Ford GT is triple the price and that is a "Ford" too. Most manufacturers have high and low end models. Even Ferrari has a "cheap" model at 200 something thousand.

Also our fuel is more expensive too. On West coast it is 213.9 cents canadian per litre.

Did anyone in Canada get an email / golden ticket ? My dealer just took a deposit from me in Jan and said I was 1st in line if they get any. They get 10 Raptors a year so they fully expect 1-2 Braptors.
My wife's Wildtrak is still sitting on Ice Mountain tho so not feeling that lucky!...

Oh man, while I really like the performance and engineering of the Raptor, the more I see it the happier I am with my Badlands. That's $40k more than my Bronco fully loaded and for a tiny bit more power (I already got a piggy back tuner so I'm not gonna miss much there) and some sick suspension. Super cool machine but looks combined with the price just don't jive for me. Once you're in the cockpit though looks don't matter - I'm sure it will be a huge thrill to drive! Congrats man!

I don't think golden ticket is a thing in Canada.
Wow. Had 2 chances to order Bronco Raptor today.
But in Canada we get screwed, Ford Canada adds $13, 000 over expected MSRP.
Then Dealership wants extra 30k over MSRP.
Government wants 12% tax + 15% luxury tax.
≈ $186,000

Canadian MSRP on the Braptor is higher than the US even after the exchange which is annoying. (99k CA$ vs 69k US$) I think they want to stop us reselling back to the US like lots of guys do with the diesel trucks.
It sucks the BC dealers are gouging you even more. I was able to order at MSRP only since I have bought a few vehicles from my Ontario dealer. WIth some options it was $109k plus 13% tax. Scheduled to build 3rd week of May.
The 15% luxury tax is applied only to the amount over the $100k but certainly makes the $30k premium even more of a kick in the ass.
Keep phoning dealers and hopefully someone with an allocation will be nice to you!

Did the dealer give you a VIN already as your build is being scheduled for May?
