I thought I found my best bang for the buck build in the 2dr Black Diamond with the Sasquatch Pkg.
However I when I choose Sound Deadening for the hardtop, its not possible.

I tried to search this in the forum but found nothing.

Any else run into this ? Link to threads that already cover the topic?

Anyone think the extra sound proofing in the top will be worth it?? Link?

You can buy the headliner from the parts department. It's listed in the Accessory list, $309.

Yep. Just get it at the parts counter or one of the other headliner options already discussed on the forum.

If you want the threads on this specific topic, search “GVWR”

The reason B&P won’t let you add it is the same for the roof rack, paint protection film, etc etc etc.

You asked if we think it's worth it. No, I don't. This is not a luxury sedan and will not be quiet. Large, aggressive tires, removable top, tailgate rear. This thing will make noise, as it should.

You can always add it yourself if you want it.

Yeah this has been a topic forany threads, however I was under the impression that a 2 door of any trim was in the clear... I guess not.

Basically anything that adds significant weight to a trim will make things like the headliner and roof racks unavailable.

Some of those key items are v6, Sasquatch, HD Mod bumper... But as I said.. thought it only affected the 4 doors.

Your choices are...
1) order them separately from the Parts Department

2) wait till 2022 models when ford said they are addressing some of this

3) go aftermarket.

I put the HotHead headliner in my Jeep JL, and I'll use them for my Bronco. IMHO, yes they are worth the price. From experience they weight very little, but are quite effective.

Strange, BL’s B&P has no issue with 2 door + sas + sound deadening and roof rack. Didn’t try paint protection.

I knew it would not be long until the search police found me....

Not search police. I'm just saying that it is easier via The Goog. Showing my search terms as well so you, and others, can tweak/bend/yell about as required by the given situation. YMMV

I ran into the same thing. I thought maybe this is because the rubber floors and drain holes would negate the idea of sound deadening in the headliner? That would not explain why it is an option without the squatch🤷‍♀️
