I hit a buck last July in Telluride, CO with my wife’s ‘18 grand cherokee at 50mph. Launched the buck over the road and into grass. Removed the damaged bumper, pulled all the broken pieces behind the front fascia/bumper, limped it back to our dispersed camping spot, disassembled everything, reassembled with zip ties and duct tape, hooked the camper up and drove it home 8hrs. $13k damage. None of the advanced safety features kicked in as the buck darted from the woods on my right. Luckily wife and the 2dogs were not hurt which is also why I like driving my giant truck on trips because not much is making it over my hood and into the windshield.

I will be sticking with the stock bumper on my Outer banks I want the fog lights. I will be adding pod lights and rock crawler lighting too.

I would like to see the “Capable Bumper” with the end caps removed. Curious if it’s similar to the Rubicon “stubby” bumper when the caps and wings are removed. ??‍♂
I keep looking at the few Capable Bumper photos that are available... I'm pretty sure that the End are NOT Removable, in the same way as the ends on the Modular Bumper are removable. It appears to me that the total distance across the front length remains the same; however, there looks to be a piece, maybe 1.5" thick, that could be removed from the back side of the bumper (to give some more room/travel for the front tires)!!!

Does anyone know the actual weights of the 3 kinds of Bronco bumpers?

So has anyone seen these in person? From every pic I have seen so far it does not have the bolt holes for the safari bar. In the original info it says it compatible ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

I believe the original info was wrong. You are correct there are no bolt holes on the “capable” bumper

I saw where a fella had his local ag dept build him a cool looking bar, I liked the idea and was gonna look at getting something similar. Here is his pic from the bookface. Looking like I gotta go modular.
