Does anyone know how this capless system holds up to dust, dirt, water, etc intrusion?

I'm guessing ford has this figured out since they have been using this system on their trucks for a few years now.

Very interesting, not that my Bronco will ever see Cannonball duty but that would make plumbing an auxiliary tank very easy. Heck the drain holes in the floor would solve the bathroom problem too ;)

All Ford's use them and it works like a charm.
Thats good news... I found it to be a nice convenience... especially in places like Chicago where it gets cold.

I had a 2011 Mustang for 7 years that had capless fill. 10/10 would recommend. Worked perfectly.

YES. Why would anyone design it to allow in dirt and water?

BTW .. they have been using it for over 10+ years with no issues. I had on my 2013 Raptor and now on my 2019 Raptor. Also had it on my 2016 RS, 2018 Lariat.

Did I see somewhere that the Bronco will have the hapless gas fill?
They've been doing that for ages, where have you been bro?

Thanks, that's what I was hoping to hear!

Hey, I've seen some pretty horrible designs make it into production over the years so I figured I'd ask.
