I have a 24 badlands sas 4 door, I’ve got a horrible plastic rattle/creeks coming from the cargo area so bad to the point it’s borderline unbearable anybody have any experience possible fixes to try for this? It’s so bad on in town roads if I can’t get it figured out this vehicle will be gone soon

Impossible for internet to point to your exact source of rattle. Have someone ride in the back. You may get some ideas from here. Still have to find it.

Your location indicates NEPA so it is understandable that anything will rattle on the roads. 🤪

But as Ron suggested, you'll need a passenger to sit in back and isolate the rattle. Likely a broken clip holding the interior panels, but no one will be able to diagnose the rattle for you. Telling a dealer that there is a rattle seems like a good way to lose your Bronco for a few weeks as they get around to determining the source themselves with the chance that after the few weeks, they return it to you stating they couldn't duplicate the sound.

I had similar experience when I got my Bronco. I did some research and seems like the remedies are to spray WD-40 white lithium inside the tailgate hinges and apply sil-glyde around the tailgate rubber seal. For me the noise was minimized. Now remember, it’s a long truck with removable top and frameless windows so the more you drive it the more you will hear random creaks and rattles which is totally normal so you’ll have to set your expectations and get used to noises like that

Also, agreed with the above. If you take it to the dealer, they’ll have it sit on a lot for a week until they finally get to it, test drive it for 5 minutes and tell you everything is fine. For things like that, you’ll have to be a little handy and creative in resolving

Dealer was zero help they simply say “can’t reproduce” when it’s constant on any and all roads other than highway

I have no problem with road noise I’m used to HD 3/4 ton trucks but the rattling is so bad it’s unbearable I’m dreading when bird season starts and I’m out on unmantained dirt game land roads

Pop all the cheap plastic paneling off and stuff as much polyfil as you can jam in there and still get them to snap back in place.

shot in the dark... but is it suspension/underbody sounds that are being amplified from below? My old timer uncle used to jack each wheel and hit it with a sledge to find noises, and have someone crawl around the area touching components until a loose one was found. Both under and in the vehicle.

I had the same issue (perhaps) and it was the back lift glass squeaking like crazy. It sounds like you have a case of water bottles in the back rubbing against one another.

I found a solution the Bronco Nation forum and it has worked like a charm.

Krytox grease. I applied it along the rubber seals and my problem went away.

You could just 'lean into it' and put ball bearings in one of the interior panels in the back and then you KNOW what is causing the noise and can be assured that it is self-inflicted. (lol)

I had a similar "rattle".. driving me crazy.. turned out to be the unused seatbelt buckles rattling against the pillar plastic.
