Cargo area wheel well compartment in 2 door?

I thought almost everything has been answered by now but I was comparing some pics and noticed that in one of the pics of the cargo area wheel well there’s a compartment but the other is covered with what looks like a speaker...anyone know which is the production version and which one the preproduction?

Related: On 4 dr soft tops there is a removable panel that covers some top mounting hardware. Is this panel present, and still removable, in a hard top? and is it present in a 2 dr? (I searched but couldn't find a picture, I'm no Zackdanger)

What an odd cup you use. If you drank from a leather glove like a normal person, it would fit in the trunk cup holder.

If it did fit were you planning on using the aux switch wiring? I think plugging into the 12V will look janky.

Drifting off topic here but both of those 2dr cargo areas shown seem to have rubber mats rather than carpet. They do not look like the optional "Cargo Mats". Are both of these some of the early preproduction misfits? I'm expecting the production model to be carpet? @ZackDanger @Rick Astley
