Thanks for all the info. I’m still looking for a overall height measurement, ground to roof, on a MIC top Sasquatch.

The Kleen Kanteen bottle is 3 3/16" in diameter. the bottom of the Dickey's cup is just under 3" in diameter. The top of the cup is just over 4". I think there would be space for a 3 3/8" bottle. Not sure about the 3 1/2" coffee cup. Better cut back on the caffeine.
The water bottle is definitely the priority here, so that is encouraging. Thanks!

Calling BS on this review.

1. OP is wearing a lot of plaid, he's either a Bronco Nation or Filson employee
2. That's room for about a half dozen beverages, i've been told there are no cup holders on the big Bronc.
3. The moving box for scale is a great touch!

Love the observation. But.... that was a Carhartt shirt. Filson is too rich for my blood. If you notice, I was wearing Levi's not stretchy pants so that immediately disqualifies me from BN.

Both the amount of cargo space (even in the 4-door model) and the MPG reports are a bit depressing. The cargo bay in my Jetta wagon looks as deep as the 4-dr Bronco.

More food for thought on cargo

Floor to window sill is 22”. Floor to seatback is around 26”. 37 x 43 x 26 = 23.9 cubic feet of usable cargo to top of seats. You loose some volume from the hump, seat recline and the bulge from the side of the tailgate, but pick up some space on the sidewalls towards the top. Let’s say average depth is 33” along the vertical plane. 33 x 43 x 26 = 21.3 cubic feet. Worst case - Let’s say you don’t load to back of seat and load to the window sill 33 x 43 x 22 = 18.1 cubic ft. So it’s somewhere between 18-21 usable cubic space. I’d probably lean closer to the 18-19 figure since the tailgate bulge and shallow load floor w hump are a hinderance.

Here’s a similar analysis of usable cargo to seatback. You could see why CRV is best in class since it’s designed similar to a bronco to get a ton of extra height in the cargo space compared to most SUVs. Depending on how you interpret the above, we exceed a CRV and slot closer to a Ford Edge, and are much better than a jeep gran Cherokee.

The only negative is that you have to get creative over stacking stuff. But it’s probably easier with the swing out tailgate and pop up glass to play around with where you cargo runs up against the tailgate. Another negative is the hump and it’s impact on the load floor.

I have a JLU (4 door) wrangler with the 3.6L 8 speed auto. if i do mostly city driving i get around 17.5-19.0 mpg. if its mostly highway i can get to around 25-27 mpg. but i need to set the cruise around 65-68 and hope its not too hilly or bad crosswinds. I don't drive like i used to, more like a grandpa than teenager. So if the Bronco can get in that range then all is good. I'm thinking it will be on par with the jeep, since that is what Ford benchmarked. And i think it will handle the road much better since it has IFS (independent front suspension) and not SFA (solid front axle).

With the ecoboost you can get eco or you get boost. You can get much better mileage if you drive like a grandpa. When we get these things delivered your going to see a wide range of reported mileage for the same build. How you drive makes a huge difference on these motors. My mileage will be on the lowest end.
My Dad may he R.I.P could probably get 30-35 mpg with the way he drove LOL, I will be happy if I get 17 😉

I hate to be a "debbie downer," but i have a 2015 Edge and the cargo area on it is substantially bigger than yhe Bronco 4 door. It is both wider and deeper. The Bronco might be taller, though.

That's probably the biggest concern I have at this point. Is the cargo area big enough for my needs. I've got two kids and a wife, and my car is the family car we take on vacations/trips. I'm trying to discern if the Bronco will be big enough.

Duly noted! Unless they were Levi's 501. Those are nut-huggingly tight these days!
