I'm using Android Auto. Since last update, my phone frequently disconnects.
Also, it will play two sources simultaneously.
My phone (Galaxy S22) gets ridiculously hot.
This doesn't happen in my wife's Acadia Denali. Everything works flawlessly and my phone stays cool.
My Bronco has High package so no wireless charging causing the heat issue.
Do you IPHONE users have a problem with your phones overheating?
Edit: my phone has shut down several times because it gets too hot
No heating issues with my iPhone 13 pro via USB or wireless charger.

I’m not sure exactly what it resets but it doesn’t reset your settings. When I’m having CarPlay issues it always solves them.
I did a master reset of the entire stereo/sync system and now it is working. I had to set up some things again but ATT and sirius came back alive without any phone calls.
The reset I did is show below

I think that may be a different reset but glad that worked for you.

Any updates on this. Wireless quit working for me last Sunday. Wired works fine but I’ve tried all the troubleshoot stuff I know with no luck.

You don’t need to do a master reset when sync acts up. Just restart the head unit. Hold the power and seek forward buttons for about 10 seconds and it will restart. No need to loose all your settings and connections.
