Two weeks ago I switched dealers after I reserved my Bronco the day after its release. I just checked my bank account and noticed the original dealer refunded my $100. I contacted my new dealer and they are looking into this issue and verifying my reservation is still active. I logged into my ford account last night and it still shows active with a $0 reservation balance Ill be calling Monday to verify.

Has anyone else experienced this after updating the preferred dealer info?

Its normal because the $100 charge comes from the dealer so when you switch dealers they return it. Its up to your new dealer if they want to charge you the $100 again but your reservation is still active

I believe that's correct. Technically, the first reservation with the old dealer has to be cancelled, so the money is refunded in 10 days. But Ford is supposed to save your place in the order and just transfer it to the second dealer. Probably not a bad idea to double check anyway.

I believe this was brought up before but can't remember where. The reservation was with the original dealer, not Ford, so they refunded you as they cannot transfer it to the new dealer. Your reservation should be fine, you'll probably just have to redo the deposit at order time.
