Did you receive the price protection money as well? How was your 3% honored was it linked to your original DORA or did they base it on the invoice delivered with your Bronco.

I'd second Chapman, I bought a '22 Maverick Hybrid First Edition from them. They honored the 4% under invoice, great to deal with.

Taxes are state dependent. In both PA and Texas, the transition offer should come off of the price before figuring taxes so you should be good to go provided your cert is in Smart Vincent. The same goes for a trade in. A lot of other states are not so lucky.

After 3 years of waiting - for the new Bronco craziness to die down (yeah, right), I finally was able to get an order in with Chapman on March 27, 2023. Got my DORA and confirmation email from Ford right away. Thanks to Ashlie and Kyle for all your help.

Excited now to only have just a little while longer to wait for our Bronco to get built and delivered. Hopefully by 2025.

Did they discuss timeframe? Pretty sure they had to pull ahead allocations from 2024 to fulfill the large quantity of old orders this year. Not sure where that would put a brand new order?

Just curious, what kind of deal are they currently offering?

It's gonna be a while - we ordered 3 of the 5 current constraints, but figured we've waited this long, might as well wait some more to get what we want. Be interesting to see how that plays out with the new Ranger that they're ramping up production for in August.

Pricing this last go-around was 1% below final invoice.

Pretty sure if it is not built in 2023, the order gets cancelled and then you have to reorder a 2024. No PP between years beyond 2023. Just in case you have not been following. Info was from Ford.

Yeah, I know price protection is long gone for a couple years now. I fully expect my order not to be built this year and to cancel at the end of the year, and I'll have to submit a new order for next year. But at least now I'm in the system and am "in line". That seems to be Bronco hurdle number one these days. I'm sure I'll be going through a similar situation for the new Ranger Raptor, but I can wait for that one too.​

Perhaps it'd be helpful if you post some details.

I ordered with Chapman Feb 2021 and just finished up the purchase paperwork remotely. I mention remotely because I'm in Texas, so easy to blow off folks not there in person.

What I can tell you is they honored every agreement to the cent!

They knew how to stack both private offers. My Jan 2023 DORA pricing was honored so I wasn't impacted by the Feb/Mar price increases. Finally, they honored the 3% UNDER invoice.

They answered every question and were very hands on, happy, and polite!

Don't know why you'd experience different.
