Saw these on Amazon for $16, ordered with low expectations, and surprisingly they work pretty well.

Battery operated with 3 AAAs in each. Place magnet on edge of door jam, line up with sensor in light, stick light to door, and voila. Offer just enough light to see what you’re stepping into when you get out. You can even take out the Bronco lens and just have a light shining down (or order the plain one). The double sided tape it comes with is terrible, replace with some from Home Depot and it’s rock solid.

Figured I’d share for the less industrious types that don’t want to screw with wiring legitimate puddle lights.

That looks neat for the price. I will certainly consider them when my bronco is finally here.

Not really a fan. But if it makes you happy, I’m happy.
yeah it’s totally chinsy and unsightly. But for the $ I’m not complaining!

I got them a while back and was disappointed you couldn’t see them in the daytime like other cars I’ve had that came from the manufacturer. I also didn’t like the small magnet you have to put on the interior. I also sometimes hit it with my foot going in and out of the car because it’s a bit bulky. But…I get TONS of compliments and no one else seems to notice all my complaints about them, so I keep them. I do like the price and the lit up design too.

I bought this and put on the tailgate door instead. Looks much better there.

Got it. Now, how do you get it lined up?

And using some gorilla glue since it's going the vinyl.

I tried the Pfumisa door lights and was impressed. I also have experienced with carlightslogo Ford door lights. They’re easy to install and don’t require wiring—just place the magnet and stick the light to the door. They provide enough light to see what you’re stepping into, and you can even remove the Bronco lens for a plain light.
