Cheap ditch lights installed.

I came across these in another thread titled I don’t care if it cheap. Well I decided to give them a go. Even if they don’t last all the wiring and ground work is done for a better set. They are a hybrid of sorts spot and flood. They illuminate out to where I believe I need. I don’t have aux switches so I bought the dual fog light switch from ford and wired the rear fog switch to trigger the relay for these. First pic just the headlights. These also have an amber side that I will hopefully hook up tomorrow undecided if I want to make the amber turn signal drl or just another switch.

The nice thing is the way it lights up the camera view for the tires.

infound if you run the wire like this the it doesn’t hold the cowl panel up at all.

I don’t have aux switches I bought the headlight switch with front and rear fogs and hooked them to the rear button. Install was like any other light. I did buy a wiring kit with relay for $10 so I wouldn’t overload the circuit.

did you have to remove the cowl panel to run wiring? Or were you able to slide it through?

I took off the part of the mirror that says accessory ready. And just lifted the edge of the cowl panel.
