I didn't see this specific issue so posting. If it was tucked in another post I apologize. This is not the pulley/coolant hose issue or even the coolant hose clamp issue. I'm 1100 miles in (and loving it), but noticed today the coolant is below minimum level. There are no leaks so I have to believe it came from the factory as such. Might be wise to pop the hood and take a peak...

Yep, just noticed this on mine. Its about right where yours is for fill. I'm an idiot, but I always forget if you should check when its at normal temp, or when its cold to determine the level?

I also only have replacement coolant that is the orange stuff my '14 fusion used, so it looks like I need to go get the green stuff that ford recommends.

Mine was slightly low as well. Is the engine hot or cold in this pic?

It was warm, but probably not up to full running temp. Even so, this far off the min mark, it's going to be too low.

Mine was low. Dealer said it was supposed to be in that range when cold. After I regained consciousness from facepalming myself, I bought the Motorcraft coolant and filled it up myself.

Mine was also low...bought some Ford prediluted antifreeze and put it to the minimum mark when cold. I was just hoping it was not a leak.

Keep an eye on it. I've topped off mine twice in the last 500 miles and I just looked and it's about 1" below the minimum mark again. I don't see it leaking anywhere so... 😬

Just checked and mine was low as well, here’s a pic cold.

That doesn't look too worrisome but the manual says you should add some.

If the coolant level is at or below the
minimum mark, add prediluted coolant
immediately.

Sometimes it can take a minute to work all the air out, then it will not keep going lower, but if you keep having to fill it there's a leak somewhere. Sometimes it just disappears into steam. If your smell it you have a leak. They can do a pressure test to find the leak.
The only thing that would bother me is if it is in your oil, but hard to tell without an oil change. Just don't let cats drink it if it is a leak and keep it filled

Oh yea Bronco!

Picked mine up 10/22 and it was fine. 11/1 it was about an inch below min and the dealership topped it off for me when I picked up some accessories. 11/18 it was nearly empty. Dealership filled it again and gave me a gallon of coolant, at my request, until I could drop it off for additional inspection. Today, dealership thoroughly inspected and did pressure tests. Concluded that there was air in the line and bled it out. Later today I hit 700 miles.

Someone else posted about the self tensioning spring clamp on the hose at the water pump not releasing properly and slowly leaking fluid. They didn’t notice the leak but rather steam from under the hood.

keep you eye on the coolant reservoir.
