Do we know what trims have the exterior paint color showing through the front door panels? I remember seeing a cutout for this on the OBX. And now seeing it again on this BL, but not the BL overland edition.
I believe it is only on 2drs.

So I guess due the drain plugs the floors are not even? Even if you throw a floor mat over top to even it out you may step on the section that has a dip in it?
I love it. Now I can pop out the drain and hose out the spilled Cheetos/Cheerios/candy/vomit!

Our youngest is to the booster seat size now but it’s nice to see. We took our first in and out of a VW New bug for a long time. At least with a Bronco, one can stand up to work the seat. Bending over and in was a PITA.

I'm a new dad, so forgive me if this is completely off base, but does the Bronco not have the anchors in the seat fold or is that just the design of the car seat causing them to use the seat belt, etc instead?
The Broncos have the LATCH system (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren).

Does the center console really have to say no step on it?

That is actually more space than I was expecting to see, that will work just fine. We only have one child, and she will be 6 by the time we get our Bronco. Shouldn't be any issue at all.

this is an awesome post, awesome pictures. Im a while away from having kids but its still definitely one of the biggest concerns in ordering the 2 door. I think we'll be able to make it work, happy to see this!

Oh hell no! My wife would make a comment everytime we had to put a kid in that car seat. That looks horrible. I have a hard enough time with car seats in my Honda Pilot which is huge and essentially one step away from a minivan.

Lol I am one of those who will put up with some inconvenience to get what I want. My dad had a 95 Mustang that he loaded my brother and I into for many years. I can make this work in the future since I likely won't need to get kids in there everyday like my wife will in her vehicle.

LATCH is federally mandated, so it'll have them.

This isn't a "child seat" really. It's a booster seat that they use when they get older. It just sits there, doesn't latch, and they use the regular seat belt.

I’m really surprised no one has complained about the blue clashing with the Cyber Orange! Maybe intended for a Black Diamond!

Sorry!

front facing isn’t really the problem. Rear facing baby seats are the hard part with a 2 door.

luckily in an SUV you don’t have to bend down. I think having the kind that you just click the whole seat into a permanent “base” will make it manageable. Once the kids can climb and strap in a 2 door is fine.

Was the original pic a BN pic? Can’t see it anymore...
