Christmas Badlands Delivered

I received an email from Ford yesterday that my BL had finally arrived, so I called my salesman. He hadn’t heard anything but would keep an eye out. Well, it was delivered today. I picked it up at 5:30pm. Perfectly in time for driving around to see Christmas lights with my daughters and aunt, in Houston, TX (it’s only 60deg). Andy Smith at Tommie Vaughn Ford in Houston was fantastic! Straight MSRP…zero hassle about anything. I sent him a Carvana quote and they came in $500 less at the dealership. No brainer to just do it at the dealership. They took off $275 for some scratches, which wasn’t a big deal, especially considering they had already thrown in free window tint. It’s not photosync or ceramic, but it will do fine and I can budget for other things instead.
I got the 2.3L and it’s perfectly fine. Great acceleration getting on the freeway and around town. I probably need to slow down as it is, bc my current average mpg is 11
