Clear PPF Film Protective Wrap for Painted Surfaces on Bronco Raptor

I have had a few clear bras on vehicles in the past including my F150 Limited, Corvette and a G37.

I had great luck with them and I am getting a quote to do my recently arrived Black Bronco Raptor.

The quote is to do all the painted surfaces. I have never done an entire car but have had a lot of black vehicles and it seems prudent.

Any advice from the group on this approach?

I have essentially the same exact spec and I am going to fully wrap the bronco. One, because it’s black and I hate swirl marks. Two, it will protect against rock chips and other debris flung up from the massive tires. I got quoted $4500 which I think is reasonable given what a lot of shops charge these days.

Not a Raptor but I just did a full Xpel PPF wrap on my Shadow Black Badlands and I'm very happy with it. I've only washed it once since getting it back but it's allowed me to relax and not worry about paint swirls all the damn time. For reference, I paid $4k for the PPF and another $500 for an Xpel ceramic coating on top.

*If you end up going with PPF, be sure they do the door sills. This will save a lot of wear and tear from getting in and out due to the height of the Raptor.

I definitely second the recommendation to add ceramic coating on top. It makes cleanup really much easier after a run in the mud.

I'd also consider windshield protection film. This is the one I went with, since I could install it myself:

I would do that before the ceramic coating is installed, so they can coat right over the top of it as well.

I just did my 2 dr Badlands. Did all the painted surfaces except the tailgate, plus the headlights. Did not do the door sills, but I added the factory doors sill guards. It was $2350 and included ceramic coat on every surface that didn't get PPF....top, flares, grill, tailgate, windows, etc. Kind of amazing how shiny it is. Avoiding scratches on the sides "desert pinstripes" was what got me thinking about it. Would be especially effective on black paint. Here's a pic, has a few days of dust on it. Mine was Ceramic Pro Kavaca PPF.
