Bronco finally hit 1k miles and I decided to try having some fun in a dirt patch. Put it into 4H to try out the trail turn assist and I noticed a type of clicking. Thought it was just the bronco putting itself into 4WD so ignored it. No issues at all, but decided to look it up and it seems people have heard that noise before CV axle issues following lift kits.

I have a base bronco on 33" tires, stock suspension no lift.

Could this be a CV issue? I would be shocked if simply increasing tire size by 10% causes issues on a vehicle that literally has "lift me" printed on the undercarriage.

Did the clicking noise start when you put it on trail turn assist? Trail turn assist makes a lot of “scary” sounding noises when it’s activated. It’s normal, it’s your ABS system working to lock your wheel and spin the others. If you are getting clocking in 4H without trail turn assist on, that could be a different issue. Axle, CV, could be a number of things. Easier to diagnose on a lift
