Some pics of the paintable hard top.

The smooth composite material looks like it could be fiberglass. It's white in basic form, maybe gel coat?

Right, anything is possible at the right price. The MIC top has texture like a Wrangler's plastic fender flares. I've seen those painted/plasti-dipped and they look bad. I've heard of people sanding them smooth and using some kind of plastic paint adhesive.
I think most will just wait for a factory painted top and just sell the MIC top to a soft top owner looking for a winter top.

I like the MIC Gray too! I just wish had the pop out back windows as an option like the Shadow Black Top. Think that MIC is going to hide alot more abuse!

Agree, the MIC top is really dark grey but also has a shiny sheen to it and that’s why it appears lighter and varies in different light situations.
